Research Consultant - Executive Search
MCS Executive | Reporting to Alex Noble, Head of MCS Executive

Location: Belfast City Centre
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 basic (OTE £40,000-£50,000)

MCS Executive, the executive search division of MCS Group, is growing, and we're looking for an ambitious, highly organised Research Consultant to join our team in Belfast.

This is an opportunity to work closely with the Head of MCS Executive, gaining exposure to senior leadership appointments, business owners and executive teams across Northern Ireland and beyond, while developing a long-term career in executive search.

If successful, you'll play a key role in identifying and engaging senior-level talent, conducting detailed market research and supporting the delivery of executive search assignments. You'll build relationships with senior professionals, coordinate recruitment processes and provide valuable market intelligence to support our clients and the continued growth of MCS Executive.

We'd like to hear from proactive, commercially minded professionals who have:

• Experience in a role involving research, recruitment, talent acquisition, business support, professional services or client engagement.
• Strong information-gathering skills, with the ability to research organisations and individuals, evaluate information and present clear, accurate findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with hyper attention to detail.
• A highly professional persona with the confidence to engage executive level talent.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple activities, maintain accurate records and deliver consistently high standards of work.
• A proactive approach, an interest in understanding businesses and their leadership needs, and the motivation to contribute to the growth of a developing business.
• Strong digital fluency with online research capability and the ability to use/learn a range of systems, including emerging technologies.

With an initial focus on research, candidate engagement and search delivery, there will be opportunities to develop greater responsibility for client relationships, assignments and commercial activities as your career progresses.
