£35,000 - £70,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience + Company Vehicle + Benefits + Overtime

This role could be of interest. Here, you'll be working for a manufacturer of equipment essential for producing flawless glass and stone products. They're seeking a field service engineer to cover Ireland as part of a long-term expansion.

Your Role as a Field Service Engineer:

• You'll be field based, conducting everything from PPM and reactive maintenance, through to installation and commissioning of capital equipment.
• The bulk of the customer base will be in the stone and glass machining world.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• The product range includes drilling, edging, and cutting, alongside manufacturing lines, specialist tooling and heads.
• Using your existing knowledge, remote logging, and training to best diagnose issues.
• It's essential you live in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland to cover your territory.
• You'll be the sole engineer in Ireland to begin with.

Ideal Background for the Field Service Engineer Position

• It's essential you have some maintenance experience of the glass and stone machining world.
  • Specific support can be provided but the remote nature and being sole engineer means you need to have existing knowledge of this sector.
• You'll have either field service engineering experience in this sector or be an in-house maintenance engineer looking to get into the field.
• A full driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK and Republic of Ireland as no sponsorship provided.
