Account Administrator

Belfast – Enterprise Team

Why Lockton?

Lockton is the world’s largest privately owned insurance broker, with over 14,000 people worldwide. We help businesses protect their people, property and future.

Our Belfast team is growing, and we’re looking for school leavers who want to start a career in insurance straight after A-levels or GCSEs.

At Lockton, you’ll be supported every step of the way, gaining real work experience, building professional skills, and developing a long-term career in a friendly and supportive environment.

About the position

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as Enterprise Account Administrators.

This is an entry-level role where you will learn how to support clients with their insurance needs, working alongside experienced colleagues who will help you develop your skills and confidence. No previous insurance experience is required; we will provide full training and support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the team in managing client insurance policies
  • Helping to process renewals and updates through insurer systems
  • Responding to client queries and providing excellent service
  • Working closely with insurers and internal teams
  • Keeping accurate records and handling documentation
  • Learning how to manage client accounts and deliver high-quality service

Start Your Career. Learn While You Earn

At Lockton, you don’t need a university degree to succeed.

You will have the opportunity to study towards professional insurance qualifications through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) fully funded by us.

Your qualification journey may include:

  • Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) (equivalent to A-level standard)
  • Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII) (equivalent to first year of university level
  • Advanced Diploma (ACII) (equivalent to a full degree-level qualification)

This means you can earn a salary, gain real work experience, and achieve qualifications equivalent to a university degree at the same time. Most people complete these qualifications over 3–5 years, depending on their pace.

About You

We are looking for people who are:

  • Keen to learn and build a long-term career
  • Friendly, confident and enjoy working with others
  • Organised and good at managing their time
  • Detail-oriented and take pride in their work
  • Curious and motivated to develop new skills

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 A-levels (or equivalent) in any subject

or

  • GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C / 4 or above) with a strong interest in starting a professional career

What You’ll Gain

  • A full-time permanent role from day one
  • Ongoing professional qualifications (fully funded)
  • Structured training and support from experienced colleagues
  • Clear career progression opportunities
  • A supportive, inclusive and friendly team environment

Why This Role?

  • This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to:
  • Start earning straight after school
  • Build a professional career without university debt
  • Gain recognised qualifications while working
  • Be part of a growing and supportive team
