Join the frontline of city services! Were hiring responsible and skilled drivers to support waste collection and street services across Belfast.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive HGV/LGV vehicles safely around the city
Collect general waste, recycling, and compostables
Supervise crew members and ensure routes are completed
Use in-cab technology, bin-lift systems, and safety features
Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain records
Lift bins, bags, and heavy items safely
Assist with drain clearance, gritting, and event support
Report faults, follow route plans, and complete daily logs
What You NeedFull Category C (HGV) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC card
At least 6 months experience in: Commercial or council driving
Working directly with the public
Must pass a driving assessment
Skills & AttributesStrong communication and teamwork skills
Health & safety awareness
Reliable, organised, and customer-focused
