Technical Draughtsperson Candidate RequirementsExtensive experience as a Technical Draughtsperson, specifically with proven experience in Mining Machinery Design / Bulk Materials Handling Equipment. Product Design experience, with proficiency in CAD software, such as Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) & SolidWorks. Experience working on projects that require adherence to tight tolerances and rigorous standards, with familiarity of manufacturing processes and production requirements.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and materials, with exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required. Technical Draughtsperson ResponsibilitiesCreate and refine detailed technical drawings. Work to precise tolerances, ensuring designs meet stringent quality and functional requirements.
Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs. Modify and update designs based on engineering feedback or changes in project scope. Maintain comprehensive records of drawings and revisions in line with company standards.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the design process. Provide assistance to the group in the UK and overseas.
