The role
We are looking for a Major Business Billing Administrator to join our NI Gas Billing team. You will be responsible for supporting accurate and on-time billing of our Major Business customers, collaborating with Billing Specialists to deliver accurate and timely management of accounts and to promote improved engagement with key customers. We operate end-to-end account management from billing to collection, and this role will include supporting query resolution and direct follow up with customers to secure payment within agreed payment terms
You will
Collaborate with Billing Specialists to support Major Business customers throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding, to billing, payments and account closure
Engage with customers to provide advice and guidance for complex and technical bill queries, provision of billing reports, sitework requests and account reconciliations, either in response to customers requests or as part of the pre-emptive collection process
Support internal change projects to optimise process, improving compliance and customer experience
Diligently ensure all associated processes for Major Business customers are followed according to billing schedules and in line with all policies and procedures, SLAs, Codes of Practice, and applicable licence requirements
You have
Sound commercial knowledge with excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a good knowledge and understanding of CRM systems, particularly with respect to billing or customer accounts
An excellent range of IT experience (especially MS Excel), with the ability to manage and interrogate large volumes of data and complete account reconciliations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to successfully negotiate with customers to deliver positive outcomes
The ability to successfully communicate with a range of stakeholders at all levels with the ability to successfully manage key working relationships and ensure ongoing collaboration and flow of information
A positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude and willingness to develop and learn, drive improvements and engage in projects as required
