Quantity Surveyor – Belfast

A Major Consulting Engineering company based in Belfast has a new requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Involved on projects within the Education, Infrastructure and Health sectors, you will be involved on large-scale projects with values in excess - £50m.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will possess the following:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
• Have or are working towards full membership of the RICS
• Pre and post contract cost management experience, including setting budgets, managing change, assessing risk and opportunity and procurement.
• Experience of working with NEC, JCT and bespoke forms of D&B Contracts.
• Dependable and reliable
• Professional and service focused on client satisfaction
• Promotes confidence with clients and colleagues
• Sound IT skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Self-motivation to work collaboratively with virtual project teams
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solver and negotiation skills
