About the role

As an Assistant Manager at Boots Opticians, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey. You will work closely with the Store Manager to create and implement the commercial plan to grow and improve the business.

Your responsibilities will include customer service, store operations, and clinical activities such as patient pre-screening, dispensing, and accuracy checks.

You will manage a team with diverse experience and clinical knowledge, supporting their development through training and performance management, including creating rotas and conducting reviews.

What you’ll need to have

• Experience in a customer-facing role


• Desire to learn


• Leadership or coaching experience
