Your impact

As an BIM / Information Manager in our Transportation Information Management Team you will be responsible for managing all matters relating to BIM / Information Management delivery in on projects, managing the People, Process, Solutions & Procurement functions to drive action in digital delivery. You will focus on managing Project Information, use of the Common Data Environment, verification of the Project Information Model content, information governance and “BIM” standard adherence.

About The Opportunity

As a key member of the Project Delivery team, you will undertake a key role in helping our Clients achieve their goals and outcomes by;

  • Fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, supporting others across the team in delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Implement the best Information Management practices according to the BIM Framework (standards, guidance and resources) and the BS EN ISO 19650 series.
  • Establish, manage, and control the Common Data Environment and interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems, along with its processes, procedures and ensuring its integrity.
  • Utilise authoring tools and collaboration software to manage client’s, supplier’s, and project’s graphical and non-graphical data.
  • Create, set up, coordinate, and deliver Information Management Protocols and Execution Plans.
  • Assesses capability and training needs, proactively implementing training and support.
  • Recognise emerging technologies, opportunities and solutions that support our Clients and Project Delivery

Here's what you'll need

  • Proven experience in a technical and/or engineering space with a thorough understanding of project information management principles and application.
  • Experience working in the Construction, or Engineering industry.
  • A degree, HND/ HNC or professional certification in a related subject.
  • Good organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • 5 years’ experience working in the BIM/IM Environment
  • Experience of ensuring the fundamental compliance in Information Management according to the UK BIM Framework.
  • Experience of implementing various interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of transportation design processes within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
