The Floor Fitter job itself provides a dynamic and engaging work environment where you will fit commercial flooring across a range of Framework Contracts. Your responsibilities will include uplifting existing flooring, preparing surfaces, and applying latex screed or underlay as required. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various materials such as sheet vinyl, tile, carpet tiles, and carpets while ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in completing each job snag-free, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
You will have
To be successful as a Floor Fitter, you will need substantial experience in commercial floor fitting, including hard and soft flooring installations. A proven track record of working within operational buildings as part of a flooring team is essential. You must possess excellent knowledge of safe and effective working practices, and hold a full valid driving license. Desirable criteria include experience in ceramic wall and floor tiling, familiarity with hospital maintenance environments, and a working knowledge of Mobile Management Information Systems.
