This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative insurtech organisation, who are currently seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions through innovative analytics projects. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact in the fast-evolving world of insurtech.
Role Overview:


As a Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of initiating and completing innovative analytics projects, providing valuable insights across various teams, senior leaders, and clients. You&'ll delve into predictive analytics, marketing analytics, competitor analysis, surveys, industry statistics, HR analytics, and bottleneck analysis, shaping data that informs critical aspects of the business.


Key Responsibilities:


- Understand the problem and define the project scope


- Gather and cleanse data from multiple sources


- Analyze data using BI reporting/visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and data preparation/analysis software (Alteryx, Python, R)


- Create data visualizations and communicate findings in a non-technical manner


- Provide insights, recommendations, and next steps based on analysis


- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously


What You Will Need:


Required Criteria:


- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or equivalent analytics experience


- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Data Analyst role


- Proficient in BI reporting/visualization/dashboarding software (Tableau, PowerBI)


- Experience with data preparation/analysis software (Alteryx, Python, R)


- Advanced proficiency in Excel


- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn


Desired Criteria:


- Knowledge of the insurance/insurtech industry


- Basic SQL knowledge


- Experience working with remote teams/virtual communication


- Familiarity with Google Analytics
