Application Support Analyst - #973607
My client are an exciting SaaS provider who build solutions for the Government. They are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join their busy team. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent remote customer service for clients and end users of their desktop and SaaS applications.
You will use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot initial problems related to hardware and software to identify and resolve technical problems. You will also be responsible for documenting support cases and client questions. The company offer hybrid work, just 1 day working from the office per week.
What you will be doing
Provide phone and email support relating to maintaining web products.
Respond to client calls and emails in a timely manner.
Remotely connect to client machines to assist with Data ETL connection issues.
Analyse client issues, troubleshoot the problem, and implement the solution.
Document and record case communications.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
What you need to succeed
Efficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience reading/writing Structured Query Language (SQL).
Experience with reading/writing basic script programs (Python).
Experience with Windows OS, file directory and network navigation.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Providing on-call support for multiple applications.
Strong work ethic and proactive approach.
Friendly, personable, and quick to establish rapport with clients.
