This highly diverse role offers hybrid working with an element of travel across the UK.


Your future duties and responsibilities
To support the delivery of all internal and public-facing SBU UK and Australia climate reports and updates in line with agreed timescales and quality.
Data analysis and reporting
To support the development of whole life carbon assessments, feasibility studies and working on scenario analysis for various carbon reduction initiatives.
Keep abreast of sector and industry best practices on ESG and support on upcoming regulation, certifications, and disclosure to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
To own and conduct the quarterly SBU UK and Australia GHG emissions review once reporting is received from the offshore CGI Global Environmental Reporting Team to ensure quality, totality, and accuracy.
To prepare and deliver in-house monthly business travel emission reporting and analysis for the SBU UK & Australia Leadership Team.
To manage the SBU UK & Australia sites energy status, ensure utility data collection and verification.
Produce high-quality write ups including analysis of Environmental thematic research and thought leadership.
To present climate action activities to Clients and other stakeholders
Ability to be flexible and to be able to multitask and prioritise when necessary.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Key skills and qualifications required to be successful in this role:
Previous experience of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting and the development of organisational carbon footprints for corporate sustainability reporting such as SECR, CDP, Science Based Targets, GRESB.
Strong analytical research skills.
Experience with scope 3 emission calculations and reporting.
Awareness of new and emerging energy and carbon accounting methodologies and technologies.
Strong numerical, quantitative skills and excel skills.
A questioning audit mindset with a desire to challenge and improve processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An ability to work autonomously and take ownership, but also able to work effectively with the Net Zero programme lead with a strong sense of collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Youll need to be self-motivated able to work to tight deadlines individually as well as in collaboration with others.
