Operational Excellence (OpEx)
Operational Excellence (OpEx) is about supporting Service Areas through continually establishing and embedding Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement. We do this through use of the Operate Delivery Framework to support successful and consistent operational delivery of Operate engagements.
We have to challenge our existing ways of working and be open to doing things differently
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the OpEx Manager and wider team to support Operate Delivery Framework
Work closely with the Service Areas to understand their operational processes and identify areas for Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
Deliver coaching and feedback to stakeholders at all levels of seniority within the Service Areas to support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
Help to maintain the Operate Delivery Framework, along with any feedback from audits
Lead in organising any OpEx events or forums
Collate reporting required for the team
Help to maintain and facilitate training sessions and leads system training, management and reporting
Maintenance of Delivery Office Document library and internal site and lead the management of requests received from Service Areas
Essential skills and experience:
Experience of implementing business improvement projects and leading cross functional projects
Experience of delivering feedback and coaching to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority across a business
Experience of making data-driven recommendations to improve operational processes (using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
High degree of IT literacy
Ability to work both independently & as a part of a team
Preferred skills
