About the Assistant Manager Role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the management team in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service and leading the team to achieve its targets.
Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager with the overall day-to-day running of the store.
- Drive sales, maximise profitability and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead, motivate and develop the retail team to deliver excellent results.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer standards.
- Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to maximise commercial results.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, stock management and store presentation.
- Support recruitment, training, coaching and development of team members.
- Assist with staffing levels, rotas and payroll management.
- Ensure company procedures, policies and operational standards are followed.
- Step up and take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
