Brook Street Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading global insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Insurance Account Executive for their expanding Belfast team.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, helping them protect their businesses through tailored insurance and risk management solutions. You'll focus on developing strong client relationships, retaining existing business, and identifying growth opportunities.

You'll be supported by an experienced team including Account Managers, New Business Specialists and a dedicated Claims Team, allowing you to concentrate on delivering expert advice and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Advise clients on insurance programmes, risks, and coverage solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
• Negotiate and place a wide range of commercial insurance risks
• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle client queries efficiently
• Ensure all client records, documentation, and regulatory requirements are maintained accurately
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide a seamless client experience

About You

Our client is keen to speak with insurance professionals who have:

• Previous experience as an Account Executive or Account Handler within commercial insurance
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients, including larger and more complex risks
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• CII qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous
