Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to develop your design skills across a varied range of engineering projects? This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy, gaining practical experience across civil and structural engineering while working alongside experienced engineers.

The Belfast team offers the opportunity to contribute to a range of infrastructure and engineering schemes, developing your technical skills and gaining exposure to different project types as your career progresses.

The Graduate Civil Engineer role will include:

• Assisting with civil and structural engineering designs and calculations

  
  
  

• Preparing technical notes, specifications and engineering reports

  
  
  

• Producing and reviewing drawings and design information

  
  
  

• Supporting design coordination and project delivery

  
  
  

• Attending site visits, surveys and inspections where required

  
  
  

• Working with engineers, technicians, project managers and other disciplines

  
  
  

The Graduate Civil Engineer should have:

• A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline

  
  
  

• A sound understanding of core engineering principles

  
  
  

• An interest in developing practical design experience across varied projects

  
  
  

• Familiarity with UK design standards and Eurocodes, or a willingness to learn

  
  
  

• Good communication, organisation and IT skills

  
  
  

• The ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team

  
  
  

Previous design experience gained through employment, placements or internships would be useful, but strong graduates will also be considered.

The Graduate Civil Engineer position offers a salary of £28,000 - £30,000, a permanent role, mentoring from experienced engineers and support towards professional accreditation. An immediate start is available.
