Payroll Manager - Belfast

MCS Group is partnering with a professional services organisation to recruit a Payroll Manager to join their expanding finance team in Belfast on a full time, permanent basis.

As the successful Payroll Manager, you will receive:

• £50-60k base salary + extensive benefits

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead, plan and oversee the weekly and monthly payroll cycles
• Provide clear direction to payroll team leaders on priorities, deadlines and service expectations
• Act as an escalation point for technical payroll queries
• Drive improvements in payroll reporting, automation and system utilisation
• Support data migration and payroll implementation
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Payroll Manager will meet the following criteria:

• Strong payroll knowledge
• Significant payroll leadership or management experience
• Background in practice/ industry or bureau
• Strong IT skills.
