Part-Time Finance & Operations Manager | 3 Days per Week | c. £60,000 pro rata

Your new company
You will be joining an established and successful organisation offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to retain senior-level responsibility and influence while working on a part-time basis. This is a key appointment within the business, working closely with the Directors and Shareholders and overseeing a small finance team.

Your new role
As Part-Time Finance & Operations Manager, you will work 3 days per week and take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the finance function. You will prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, manage cash flow and oversee year-end reporting and consolidated accounts across multiple entities.

This is a broad and commercially focused position where you will work directly with the senior leadership team, providing financial insight to support decision-making and helping to improve financial controls, systems and processes.

You will also develop management information, dashboards and KPIs, while exploring how technology and AI can improve financial reporting and accounting processes. Alongside finance, you will have involvement in wider operational and people matters, making this an interesting and varied senior role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience and the confidence to operate in a senior, hands-on finance role.

You will have strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience, ideally including consolidated or multi-entity accounts. You will be commercially minded, comfortable leading a small team and confident working directly with senior stakeholders.

Importantly, you will enjoy improving the way things are done and have an interest in systems, technology, AI and how these can be used to create more efficient finance processes and better management information.

What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a genuinely senior finance position while working just 3 days per week. You will have significant autonomy, direct access to the organisation's decision-makers and the opportunity to make a visible impact across finance, systems, reporting and wider business operations.

The position offers a salary of approximately £60,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata for 3 days per week. The role is fully office-based.
