Accounts Manager (Temporary 8–12-week cover)

• Location: East Belfast
• Contract: Temporary contract (8–12-weeks) | Full-time | Office Based
• Hourly rate: £20.50 - £26.67 per hour (dependent on experience)

Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an excellent company based in East Belfast. They are currently seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

The successful Accounts Manager will play a crucial role in managing daily financial operations and administrative tasks. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Daily Activities:

• Conduct cash reviews and forecast updates.
• Process purchase invoices and handle invoice queries.
• Update timesheets and manage payment processes.
• Collaborate with team members for financial reviews and reconciliations.

Weekly Activities:

• Prepare and process supplier payments.
• Manage staff rosters and handle related queries.
• Review and reconcile invoices and bookings.

Monthly Activities:

• Handle payroll processing, expense claims, and pension payments.
• Manage corporate financial statements and card reconciliations.
• Prepare and process various financial payments and reports.

Quarterly and Annual Tasks:

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and year-end accounts.
• Handle payroll year-end submissions and manage insurance renewals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• QBE/Part qualified/or fully- qualified Accountant
• Proven experience in end-to-end finance administration, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
• Strong ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
