The Production Management organization provides business critical application management and support for our Services, Markets, Banking, USCC, Wealth and Functions clients globally.
Join our Stability Governance team as a Lead (SVP), a pivotal role within the broader horizontal Optimization and Enablement function dedicated to strengthening our entire Production Management landscape. This position offers a unique opportunity to actively shape and drive critical stability governance initiatives and frameworks.

As Production Management evolves its operating model through AI capabilities and intelligent automation, this role is critical to that transformation. You will not just govern stability; you will help redefine what it means. We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Production Management, Risk Management, and Data Analysis, eager to apply their expertise within the complex and highly regulated environment of the banking sector. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the resilience and optimal performance of our vital systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, govern, and oversee the strategic reporting framework for monthly stability metrics across diverse business units, leveraging advanced data analysis and visualization to translate complex, multi-dimensional datasets into high-impact, executive-ready insights, and then presenting to senior leadership.
  • Quantitative KPI & SLO modelling to architect, establish, and continuously evolve the global KPI and Service Level Objective (SLO) frameworks for application stability, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite and business objectives.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence and automation tools to reduce toil and enhance efficiency.
  • Define, institutionalize, and champion enterprise-wide stability best practices and engineering standards, driving a culture of continuous service improvement and operational excellence across the technology landscape.
  • Lead cross-functional, deep dive thematic analysis of systemic stability data to propose and execute preventative and corrective strategic initiatives that mitigate risk.
  • Own and govern the Focus and Intensive Care application improvement programs, partnering with senior application owners to engineer remediation roadmaps for high-risk systems.
  • Govern the review and attestation of processes for critical stability artifacts (e.g., Change Risk Index, Market Event Management).
  • Provide program management oversight for high-priority stability initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, and mentoring mid-level engineers and analysts within the horizontal stability team.
  • As the Stability Team's operational lead, you'll manage the team's day-to-day priorities, using sound judgement and autonomy to make decisions and delivery results.
Required Skills:
  • Strategic Leadership & Executive Influence: Proven track record of leading cross-functional governance teams and influencing executive stakeholders (MD/Director level) by translating complex, technical data insights into compelling, non-technical business cases and strategic roadmaps. Ability to craft compelling executive narratives, briefing documents, and board-level reporting with minimal direction.
  • Advanced Quantitative Problem-Solving: Analytical acumen with the ability to apply structured, data-driven problem-solving methodologies (e.g., root-cause analysis, correlation studies) to diagnose systemic, multi-layered technology failures and architect long-term preventative solutions.
  • Analytical Rigor & Data Governance: Uncompromising commitment to data integrity, analytical precision, and governance standards, ensuring that all executive-level stability metrics, risk models, and compliance reports are flawless, auditable, and statistically sound.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity, manage shifting organizational priorities, and dynamically pivot analytical strategies in response to real-time operational telemetry and market events.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement: Proactive driver of continuous improvement, with a proven ability to leverage data technologies to modernize stability governance, automate manual reporting, and eliminate operational toil.
  • Data Proficiency: Mastery of data transformation, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling using large, complex, and unstructured datasets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to leverage advanced Excel (VBA, Power Pivot) and executive presentation tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • AI & Intelligent Automation: Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI, ML, or automation tools to enhance operational monitoring, reduce toil, or drive predictive insights in a production or SRE environment.
  • Operational Leadership: Proven ability to operate as a senior decision maker for day-to-day operations, setting direction, resolving escalations and delivering outcomes autonomously.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in IT governance, production support, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
