About the Role

The Patient and Client Council (PCC) is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join its Business Support Team. As the first point of contact for members of the public, you will provide a welcoming and efficient service while supporting a range of administrative functions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage calls to the PCC Freephone service.
• Direct enquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Monitor and manage shared email inboxes.
• Maintain accurate records and update organisational systems.
• Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning and photocopying.
• Assist with diary management, meetings and event coordination.
• Support recruitment and induction administration.
• Maintain petty cash records and general office administration.
• Contribute positively as part of the Business Support Team.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous reception or administrative experience.
• Strong organisational and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.
• A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
