About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals who may have a range of support needs. Your role will vary depending on the service, but may include:

• Providing practical, emotional and social support to service users.

• Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.

• Developing positive and respectful relationships with the people you support.

• Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities.

• Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate records.

• Working alongside colleagues and other professionals to provide high-quality support.

• Promoting dignity, choice, inclusion and independence at all times.

• Following safeguarding, health and safety and organisational policies.

What We're Looking For

You must have previous experience working as a Support Worker or within a care setting.

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Compassionate, patient and understanding.

• Reliable and committed to providing high-quality support.

• Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

• Respectful of individual choices, dignity and confidentiality.

• Able to communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues.

• Flexible and willing to work across a range of shifts, depending on the service.
