Van Driver (Chilled & Ambient Deliveries)

Location: Belfast
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week over 4-5 days
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver on behalf of a well-established food distribution company based in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver with experience handling chilled and ambient food products and carrying out multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver chilled and ambient food products to customers across designated routes
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently and accurately
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Maintain product quality and temperature control throughout deliveries
• Complete delivery paperwork and records as required
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
• Assist with warehouse duties when required

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record
• Previous van driving experience
• Experience loading and unloading goods
• Experience handling chilled and ambient food products
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
