We're working exclusively with a highly respected and long-established financial planning firm in Belfast that is seeking an IFA Administrator to join its supportive and experienced team.
With over 30 years of success, this business has built an excellent reputation for client service, staff development and retention. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the firm and play a key role in supporting advisers and clients across pensions, investments and protection.
This is more than just an administration position. For the right individual, there is a genuine pathway towards Paraplanning and Financial Adviser progression, supported by ongoing training, development and professional qualifications.
The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive support to the advisory team, helping to ensure a seamless experience for clients and the efficient management of new and existing business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pensions, investments and protection administration.
- Processing new business applications and servicing requests.
- Managing client reviews and ongoing servicing requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client records.
- Updating and managing information through the firm's back-office system.
- Liaising with providers, platforms and clients to obtain required information and documentation.
- Processing fund switches, withdrawals, top-ups and client servicing transactions.
- Tracking applications and transactions through to completion.
- Preparing client documentation, correspondence and reports.
- Assisting advisers with meeting preparation and follow-up actions.
- Ensuring all activities are completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
About You
We're open to speaking with candidates from a variety of financial services backgrounds. Previous experience within an IFA or wealth management environment would be advantageous, but attitude and potential are equally important.
You'll ideally possess:
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and wealth management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT and systems capability.
- A professional, reliable and trustworthy approach.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
