Run DMG Ltd

Belfast (hybrid, 3 days in office) | Full-time | £35-40k base + performance bonus

About the Role

We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency specialising in paid media, email retention, and ecommerce growth for DTC brands across North America and Europe. We run serious budgets on Meta and Google for brands in furniture, fashion, fitness, and beyond - and we're scaling quickly.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on role with a leadership track built in. You'll own Google Ads delivery across a portfolio of mainly ecommerce accounts (with some lead gen) while providing day-to-day oversight and quality control for our Meta buying team. You'll report directly to our co-founder and Chief Marketing & Performance Officer, and you'll be his right hand in the Performance department: the person clients and teammates go to when he isn't in the room.

As the team grows, so does the role. You'll help onboard and develop new media buyers, shape how we structure and scale accounts, and have a genuine path to leading the department. We use AI tools heavily across creative and data analysis, brief generation, performance auditing and more - you'll be expected to work with them, not around them.

What You'll Own

•    Google Ads delivery: end-to-end strategy, build, and optimisation across Performance Max, Shopping, and Search for a portfolio of DTC ecommerce clients.

•    Meta oversight: reviewing account structures, creative testing plans, and performance across our Meta buyers' accounts; coaching, not just checking.

•    Client performance reporting: owning numbers, narratives, and recommendations for your accounts; presenting confidently to founders and marketing leads.

•    Proactive diagnosis: spotting issues before clients do - attribution anomalies, creative fatigue, tracking gaps - and raising them with a proposed fix.

•    Team development: helping onboard and train new media buyers as the department grows.

What We're Looking For

•    4+ years of hands-on media buying, with Google Ads as your strongest platform. You've personally built and managed PMax, Shopping, and Search campaigns for ecommerce brands - this is non-negotiable. Experienced with feed management tools and Merchant Center as well as troubleshooting tracking issues.

•    Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads - enough to review structures, creative strategy, and results with authority.

•    Ecommerce fluency: you understand AOV, CVR, contribution margin, blended vs platform ROAS, and can explain why a number moved.

•    Agency experience preferred - you're comfortable juggling multiple accounts and client personalities.

•    A coaching instinct: you make the people around you better and you'd rather teach the fix than hoard it.

•    Direct communicator: you flag problems early, in plain language, with a recommendation attached.

•    Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow - we're an AI-forward team and this matters. Bonus if you are already fluent with Claude Cowork and/or Code.

  • Flexible - with clients all over the globe and important sale periods happening throughout the year, some evening and weekend work is required to cater for different timezones

Nice to Have

•    Time at Google, Meta, or another major ad platform (in addition to, not instead of, hands-on buying experience).

•    Shopify and GA4 fluency.

•    Klaviyo or broader retention marketing exposure.

•    Experience mentoring or managing junior buyers.

What We Offer

•    £35-40,000 base salary depending on experience plus a performance bonus tied to client and department results, with realistic OTE significantly above base.

•    Private medical insurance upon successful completion of probation.

•    A genuine number-2 seat in a growing department - direct mentorship from agency leadership and a clear path to Head of Performance as we scale.

•    Hybrid working: 3 days per week in our Belfast office, 2 remote. Many of our clients are North American so in-office days typically start at 10am - we care about output, not hours.

•    Real budgets, real brands, and the autonomy to run your accounts your way once you've earned it.

How to Apply

Send your CV along with a short note covering: one Google Ads account you personally ran, what you changed, and what happened to the numbers. Specifics beat polish - we'd rather see real screenshots and real thinking than a cover letter.
