Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg

The role of Estimator – Structural Building Components includes:

• Estimator position dealing with a range of residential & commercial concrete / structural building components
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Structural Building Components with

• Must have Estimating experience within the Construction sector
• Highly advantageous to have experience within the Civils sector, ideally dealing with concrete products, structural building components or infrastructure systems.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full UK driving license
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
