About MCG Property Group

MCG Property Group is one of Northern Ireland’s most dynamic and ambitious property investment and development companies. Female-founded, with a strong family heritage in property, we operate across four distinct sectors: MCG Property, MCG Construction, MCG Investments and MCG Consultancy, delivering exceptional results across residential and commercial markets throughout Northern Ireland. We are a fast moving, entrepreneurial business with big ambitions, and we’re building the team to match.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to take real ownership of the marketing function at MCG Property Group as a Marketing Manager. You will work directly with the founder, with the autonomy to make real decisions not just execute someone else’s strategy.

This isn’t a ‘post a few times a week and see what happens’ kind of role. This is a commercial marketing position for someone who understands that the purpose of marketing is to grow a business and who wants to be the person making that happen.

This Role Is For You If…

  • You create scroll stopping social content and have the results to prove it.
  • You’re a strong writer who understands how to write for search as well as for people.
  • You have solid experience managing email marketing campaigns end-to-end.
  • You know your way around a CRM; ideally Zoho, or something similar.
  • You are a self-starter who brings solutions, not just questions.
  • You care more about results than job titles.

As a Marketing Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Own and execute the social content strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and beyond creating content that builds MCG’s audience, builds trust and drives enquiries.
  • Turn the Managing Director’s expertise and business story into engaging content that people want to read and share.
  • Write clearly and compellingly across socials, email, web and blogs in a voice that sounds human and converts, with a solid understanding of SEO.
  • Build, manage and grow segmented email lists; plan and execute campaigns that nurture leads and retain clients, using Zoho CRM.
  • Keep the website updated, sharp and optimised for conversion, ensuring enquiry journeys are seamless from social or search to contact form.

Report clearly on performance, bring new ideas to the table and contribute to quarterly campaign planning and channel strategy.

Required Skills of a Marketing Manager:

  • Proven experience creating and managing social media content that drives real results; followers, engagement and enquiries.
  • Excellent video content creation and editing skills.
  • Strong copywriting ability - clear, compelling, adaptable across formats and audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing: campaign planning, writing, segmentation and reporting.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage contacts and support marketing activity (Zoho CRM a strong advantage).
  • A working knowledge of SEO and how to write content that performs in search.
  • Self-starter mentality - organised, proactive, and able to manage your own time and priorities.
  • Experience running paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) is a bonus, not a requirement, we have a trusted third-party partner for this.
  • Experience in or genuine interest in property, construction or investment is a plus.

A degree is great if you have one. We’re far more interested in your experience, your portfolio and your attitude.

Benefits of Working as a Marketing Manager at MCG:

  • Full ownership of the marketing function from day one.
  • Hybrid working; flexible split of remote and in office based Belfast, BT3 9DT.
  • Direct access to the founder and real commercial visibility.
  • Flexible part-time hours (c.25 hours per week).
  • Fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where your work makes a genuine impact.
  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

How to Apply

Send us a one pager along with your CV telling us why you’re the right fit for this Marketing Manager role. Not a standard cover letter, tell us what you have done, what it achieved, and why MCG excites you. Include your current salary and available start date.

(Optional) Include a short portfolio, case study, or social handle that shows your work in action. Even better, share something you’d do differently on our channels.

MCG Property Group is building something ambitious, and we need the right people to help us get there. If you’re ready to own the marketing function, make a real commercial impact, and grow alongside a business that is genuinely going places, then we would love to hear from you.
