We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring seamless integration into CI pipelines and enhancing system reliability. This role involves close collaboration with developers and QA teams in a dynamic agile environment.

Please note that working from the office 3 days per week is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for frontend and backend systems
  • Leverage Playwright for frontend automation and Java/TypeScript for backend testing
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI pipelines using GitLab
  • Support and manage containerized testing environments using Docker
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in test coverage
  • Ensure the reliability and maintainability of automated tests
  • Contribute to performance testing and optimize system responsiveness
  • Participate in sprint planning and provide insights on testing strategies and coverage
  • Follow automation best practices to enhance testing processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation, software testing, or related fields
  • Proven experience in automated testing across frontend and backend systems
  • Strong proficiency in Java or TypeScript
  • Expertise in Playwright or similar frontend testing tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab
  • Working knowledge of Docker for test environment configuration

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of performance testing techniques for system optimization
  • Background in working within agile, cross-functional teams
