Your new role
In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Managing product categories to maximise sales, profitability and market share.
• You will develop and implement trading strategies, analyse performance data and customer trends.
• Work closely with suppliers to negotiate competitive terms and promotional plans.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and store operations teams to ensure effective product availability and execution.
• You will monitor market activity, identify growth opportunities, and continuously optimise ranges and pricing strategies to meet customer demand.

What you'll need to succeed

• Recent experience in a trading, buying or category management role
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and margin growth
• Proven experience in supplier negotiation and relationship management
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience using commercial or ERP systems
• Third-level qualification in business, supply chain or a related discipline
