Compliance surveillance analyst - #2071577

We are working with a global financial organisation to recruit multiple compliance surveillance analysts to work on the surveillance team responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight for a suite of surveillances designed to detect behaviours that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures. These roles will be for 12 months with a possibility of extension or permanent positions.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will be part of the project team, and you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and investigating trading alerts for firm, employees, and clients
• Documenting findings clearly and escalating issues when needed
• Analysing trade data and support responses to regulators
• Communicating results to management and working with compliance, legal, and audit teams
• Handling general tasks like enquiries, hotlines, data entry, and following compliance rules

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to possess the following skills/experience:

• Previous relevant experience preferred
• Some knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
• Strong project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

This role will require you to be in the Belfast office 3 days per week. Only candidates with the ability to attend the office will be considered.
