Hybrid role in Belfast

This position will work within the International payroll team that is currently responsible for processing 8 legal entities across the UK, EMEA, and APAC.

The job will entail processing and checking new starters, leavers and all changes prior to processing payroll. They will ensure all reports are run and payrolls are reviewed according to the company audit controls. As well as assisting with payroll projects including payroll system upgrades and data validation between the companies CRM and payroll systems. Additional duties as assigned, including ad hoc reporting.

What you will do:


  • Delivering accurate, timely and compliant Payroll / Payroll cycle liaising with HR and country teams and ensure country procedures are followed.

  • Managing and delivering Payrolls against the agreed country schedules.

  • Individually and as a team member striving to improve the systems, processes, and Payroll delivery environment to maximize the efficiency and accuracy.

  • Owning or contributing to specific company projects such as improving and/or changing systems, processes, or functions within the business.

  • Owning, managing, and resolving employee escalations, seeking help and advice when needed.

  • Raise Issues with Payroll Vendor and manage them to resolution.

  • Manage the relationship with Payroll Vendor’s to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Payroll.

  • Collaborating with the Sr. Global International Payroll Specialist to provide support with assigned tasks

  • Proficient in the calculation of UK SSP and SMP.

  • Pension enrolment support.

  • Ensuring the accurate processing of New Starters and Leavers.


What you will need:


  • Basic general knowledge and understanding of payroll related tasks.

  • Experience with payroll in the UK, EMEA or APAC regions is a plus

  • This person will need to be able to operate in a dynamic and changing environment, manage multiple deadlines, display a high level of professionalism and organisational skills, maintain confidentiality as necessary and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
