What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Product Lead for Northern Ireland, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Everyday Banking Product & Solutions Team. You'll be responsible for enhancing our pricing and commercial capabilities across Current Accounts, Overdrafts, Cards and Business Savings to support our growth ambitions. Initially, we'll focus on Business Savings.
Location - successful candidate can be based in Belfast or London

The Everyday Banking business brings together all our direct-to-customer businesses in Northern Ireland and through our partnerships with the Post Office. The Products & Solutions team is a critical component of this business unit and exists to design and deliver market leading products that meet the everyday banking needs of personal and business customers.
The team is responsible for achieving great customer outcomes with products, services and experiences that truly meet the needs of our customers, within the framework of compliance and regulation. As the focal point of a critical range of activities and fields, the team is pivotal in our mission to transform the bank.

In This Role, You Will
- Be responsible for designing and delivering all strategic and tactical product pricing initiatives across Products and Solutions, building advanced knowledge of our product financials and key commercial drivers, using insight trend analysis to build and improve forecasting capabilities and identify commercial opportunities.
- Build and enhance our pricing capabilities to meet enhanced regulatory standards including Fair Value Assessments across all open and closed product portfolios.
- Deliver Products and Solutions led pricing governance, business performance and competitiveness reporting including management of pricing mandates, Business Management Committee updates and monthly reporting packs.
- Monitor competitor pricing propositions, pricing strategies and market movements to protect and grow market share.
- Monitor and understand the drivers of commercial performance, developing forecasts and tracking performance.
- Support capability uplift by coaching and mentoring colleagues to share knowledge, standard methodology and commercial experience.
- Significant hands-on commercial experience in pricing and forecasting ideally in financial services.
- Strong commercial judgement, proven analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and set out clear and unambiguous commercial recommendations including pricing propositions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data sets. Experience of using statistical software suites would be highly beneficial.
- Advanced communication skills including well-developed presentation skills including an ability to "story tell" across a range of complex topics as well as experience preparing C-level papers
- Relationship management focussed with a collaborative style; strong ability to challenge constructively and influence a range of stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes
- Knowledge of the evolving UK financial services industry with an awareness of the opportunities and threats from new and emerging technologies as well as the impacts of the regulatory landscape.
