Bluestones is happy to announce they are working in Partnership with DFDS logistics and due to increase in business they have a requirement for immediate start warehouse Operatives

Hours Shifts can vary Days and night pickers required

Shifts time are as follows

06:30am - 14:30pm 08:30am - 16:30pm 10:30am - 18:30pm

18:30pm - 02:30am 20:30pm - 04:30am 22:30pm - 06:30am

Please note weekend work will be required

Location Duncrue

Salary Dayshift £12.21 and Nightshift £14.66phr

Please note this Role will be working 50% in chill and 50% in Ambient

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring that all items are handled with care and prepared for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer specifications.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of orders.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that stock is stored correctly.
• Utilize the warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and order statuses.
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience would be Advantageous
• Familiarity with materials handling and warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
