We are currently looking for KYC/EDD Analysts at multiple levels to join our growing teams in Belfast - immediate starts are required.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct retrospective reviews of customer transactions to detect potential indicators of suspicious activity, including money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing.
  • Evaluate the accuracy of existing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess the appropriateness of customer risk ratings and recommend adjustments based on the depth and quality of supporting documentation.
  • Perform risk-based Customer Due Diligence (CDD) lookbacks to confirm that customer profiles meet current regulatory standards and internal expectations.
  • Identify and escalate red flags indicative of financial crime or compliance vulnerabilities, contributing to the development of effective mitigation strategies.
  • Recommend and implement accurate updates to customer risk profiles within internal systems as part of the remediation process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory alignment across project deliverables.
  • Support project oversight through regular progress updates and participation in quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background – Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of KYC experience, to include working in Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Prior experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance function within AML/KYC/EDD operations, with a strong understanding of review frameworks, error typologies, and root cause analysis to ensure consistent adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
