Front-End Developer

I am currently working with a Belfast based tech team. The company have been consistently growing their engineering team over the past 12 months, bringing in a range of talented software engineers, from junior to lead. The company are looking for experienced software developers that have worked with Angular on the frontend. Angular is essential for this role, however, experience in other backend technologies, like React and Vue, is also beneficial. The team are currently working on-site 2-3 days per week. You will be required to go into the office for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, user-centric web applications using Angular


• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to build seamless and scalable interfaces


• Optimise components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers


• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and best practices


• Stay current with front-end trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our tech stack

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in a front-end development role, ideally mid-level


• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript


• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript


• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services


• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools


• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility


• Bonus points for experience with Angular Material, state management, or testing tools such as Jasmine/Karma
