DWF is recruiting for a Personal/Administrative Assistant to provide notable support to our Motor & Fraud team, supporting multiple Partners and Solicitors. Your role is crucial in enabling our fee-earning colleagues to optimise their billable time and focus on client work.

We offer flexible working and envisage you will be based out of the Belfast office around 3 days per week with 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities

This is an extremely varied role which will suit anyone who likes to be busy and challenged. As Personal/Admin Assistant, you are responsible, along with your team members, for managing the Motor and Fraud central inbox handling correspondence, emails, phone-calls, letters, liaising with Solicitors, Barristers, and Insurance Companies, as well as retrieving client debt and maintaining the electronic filing system and, opening, closing and archiving files.

You will also proof dictations before they are sent to Solicitors, ensuring final documents are grammatically correct, professionally formatted and ready for distribution/ filing. In addition you are responsible for preparing electronic and paper briefs to be sent to Counsel.

You will prioritise and deal with all delegated tasks to ensure a high level of support is provided at all times.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • Experienced with the MS Office suite together with case management systems
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Considerable organisational & administration skills.

Desirable

  • Background experience or education in finance.
  • PA/ Secretarial litigation experience
