Senior Associate Payroll £32,500 – £40,000 – BelfastFrazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading consultancy firm on the recruitment of a Senior Associate to join the payroll team on a permanent basis. Our client is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week required into the office. The Role:Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including detailed calculations and thorough reviews to ensure accuracy.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all payroll outputs. Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and upload pension contributions to the relevant pension provider. Apply correct tax treatment to all pay components prior to implementation.
Provide ad hoc payroll advice to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Support the onboarding of new payroll clients, including the creation of process documentation. Ensure all payrolls remain compliant and up to date with current legislation.
Adhere strictly to agreed deadlines and payroll cut-off dates. Communicate with HMRC and third parties to resolve payroll-related queries. Manage year-end payroll processes, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
Assist with the annual processing of P11D forms. Support the management team in delivering projects on time and to specification. Analyse time allocation against chargeable codes to support operational efficiency.
Contribute to the training and development of the payroll team, including updates on legislation, system enhancements, and process improvements.
