The Project

Our Transportation team is growing in Northern Ireland and we have an exciting opportunity for a NEC Supervisor to join our Rail team on a full-time permanent contract. As NEC Supervisor you will represent Mace whilst interfacing with our key clients. You will ensure the successful delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

You will be required to work in the office 3 days per week with ad-hoc travel to sites in and around Belfast.

  • You will work as part of the NEC supervisory team, taking direction from the NEC lead and project senior leadership team.

  • You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.

  • You will provide technical expertise and support to delivery teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.

You’ll Need To Have

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an NEC Site Supervisor on capital infrastructure projects valued at a minimum of £1 million
  • Experience managing H&S on site.

You’ll Also Have

  • Working towards membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • NEC Accreditation
  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the infrastructure sector.
  • Construction management expertise.
  • Developing commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
