Job Role: Study Participant Recruitment and Data Collection Coordinator
This role involves assisting with the administration, recruitment, and data collection from study participants (pregnant women) as part of the RESPIRE project, which examines the effects of outdoor and indoor air pollution on mothers and babies. Responsibilities include working with hospital clinic staff to contact and recruit mothers attending maternity clinics in Northern Ireland, obtaining consent, and entering relevant data into the study database
Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be able to travel by car (or meet the mobility requirements of the post) and work flexibly to ensure successful recruitment and follow-up of trial participants
About the Person:
The successful candidate must clearly demonstrate in their application that they meet the following criteria:
Relevant academic or vocational qualifications, e.g., 2 A Levels or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Business Management, or equivalent. OR
Significant vocational/relevant experience, including at least 4 years in managing an organization dealing with data management and research in a competitive research environment. AND
Experience in recruitment of project participants, data collection, and engaging with research participants. Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
