About the RoleAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining APIs for web and mobile applications. You’ll focus on writing robust, scalable, and maintainable code while working in a collaborative environment with designers, front-end engineers, and trading specialists. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Work closely with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. Required SkillsThe backend is primarily built in Python and runs on AWS, incorporating technologies such as: Flask, Pytest, Mypy, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQS, S3, and Terraform Continuous integration and daily deploymentsThis is a fully remote opportunity, but requires candidates to be based in the UK.We look forward to your application!
