The Property Management and Consultancy Departments manage a diverse range of properties across all sectors for private and corporate clients and have an opening for an experienced Building Surveyor or Architect.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail orientated Building Surveyor or Architect to join our team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of projects, providing expert surveying services and ensuring our clients receive exceptional support. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor projects, budgets and schedules effectively.
- Advise clients on property matters, including maintenance, repairs and compliance.
- Advise on developments and provide support and advise within the practice.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Utilise Auto CAD and other software tools for accurate design and construction.
The Person
The successful candidate for the role will:
- Qualified Building Surveyor or Architect (ARB) with minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Team player working closely with the Management and Consultancy Team.
- Enthusiastic individual interested in growing existing service line.
- Practice knowledge of the construction process and the regulatory environment for developments as well as construction costs.
- Effective and professional communication skills for liaising with clients and funders and for building relationships.
- Proficient in IT including Excel, Word and Auto CAD and other relevant tools and experience in preparing reports to agreed formats and templates
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence.
