Who you’ll be working with:We’re looking for a hands-on Data Scientist to drive innovation research and development in emerging AI technologies, with a focus on building and deploying predictive models that solve complex business challenges. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving large reasoning models, advanced data elements, and emerging trends within AI.

You’ll join a small, high-performing team dedicated to translating research insights into production-ready solutions. If you have experience developing end-to-end ML solutions, translating research into code, and a passion for staying ahead of AI innovation trends, this is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Experience and skills we need:

• A third level qualification in a STEM related subject.


• 
  Professional Python Development Experience:Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience using Python in a professional setting (beyond academic coursework). Strong proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.


• 
  End-to-End ML Lifecycle Experience:Demonstrated experience developing, training, and deploying predictive models, with an understanding of ML lifecycle best practices.


• 
  Research Translation:Ability to translate complex AI research concepts into practical, production-ready code and solutions.


• 
  Independent Work Ethic:Proven ability to work independently and take initiative, especially within distributed or cross-functional teams.


• 
  Communication and Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines.

Experience and skills we’d love:

• Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow or similar experiment tracking and model management platforms.


• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS (S3, SageMaker, Lambda) or equivalents for model deployment and data pipelines.


• Knowledge of large reasoning models, advanced AI architectures, and emerging trends within AI.


• Experience conducting innovation research, trend analysis, and documenting insights to build a technology backlog.

What you’ll be doing:

• Researching and analyzing emerging AI technologies and trends to inform innovation strategies.


• Understanding and defining key data elements critical for advanced AI and large reasoning model development.


• Developing and training predictive models to address complex business problems.


• Managing and contributing to the full ML lifecycle: data preparation, model training, evaluation, and deployment.


• Translating AI research findings into scalable, production-ready code and solutions.


• Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and product owners to ensure alignment with business needs.


• Communicating complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Maintaining a backlog of emerging technology trends and innovation opportunities to guide future initiatives.


• Contributing to team best practices, mentoring peers, and promoting knowledge sharing through tech talks and documentation.
