Your Role:
Airbus IM Infrastructure and Platforms delivers Airbus internal and external Business infrastructure Backbone to design, operate and run any Business Applications (On prem, Hybrid or Cloud based).
Sustaining such business requests, we as IM pillar delivers : Design, Deploy and Operate Application platforms environment.
Within IM, DICA/E is the key partner/focal point to deliver and operate IM Technical Services for business application teams in close collaboration, sustaining AIRBUS activities and enabling Digital transformation.

The job holder will have the opportunity to work with all AIRBUS organizations to support the team in delivering and sustaining IT solutions, involving different Product and Service Lines teams (also called PSL) as well as the Digital Workplace (DW) teams, Security (DS) ...
We as CRE - Infrastructure Customer Reliability Engineer - are the focal point and key partner for Business & IM applications teams to Advise, Design, Deliver and Operate best fit and innovative IT solutions to host applications sustaining AIRBUS activities and enabling Digital transformation.
Our multidisciplinary teams mainly based throughout Europe work in close relation with all the Infrastructure & Platforms PSLs and have no dogmatic approach: we size the solution and our services to the customer’s needs ensuring full alignment with AIRBUS and IM strategy and standards (security, data mgt, etc.).
We provide the following services:
Demand management for IM products including advisory boards for Hosting solutions
Complex infra projects lead and support
IT architecture services
IT technology expertise through a CoC
E2E infrastructure integration and operation for applications
Responsibilities:
Managing the overall Projects Contribution.
CRE along with Architects must be able to provide an estimation of Infra costs.
Proactive in business needs capturing, challenge and providing inputs for formalization into infrastructure features / solution catalogue and standard
Write / Update Projects delivery follow-up (Cost / Planning /Risk / Opportunities)
Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of CRE community and related methods based on best practices and proven methodology
Run E2E application portfolio coverage : from Design to Operate inc. application evolution
Some primary functions are to investigate and analyse various behaviours of applications portfolio, propose improvement process/ work around methods for an optimized infrastructure solution on the application.
Identify, assess risks and opportunities in your area of duty. Identifies and prioritizes events that might negatively/positively affect the programme / process/ function objectives and categorizes them.
Performing End to End testing on applications in the portfolio and identifying/analysing the errors.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Prepare an infrastructure solution proposal for the Business.
Support the application performance improvement initiatives.

Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or IT
Experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Working experience in IS/IT operations and/or IS/IT project management
Proven experience in AOP management
Experience in subcontracting/supplier management
Proven experience in driving process improvement
Ability to handle constantly changing priorities in an agile and flexible manner
Very strong customer orientation
Proven experience in communication and stakeholders management (incl. customer expectations)
Proven experience in a transnational team and environment incl. transnational operational management
Strong desire to constantly learn and improve, personally and with the team
Proficient in English both spoken and written
Knowledge of IT processes (incl. ITIL), methods and tools (e.g. ITSM) is a plus
