We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to implement marketing plans and activities across UK, Ireland, and Netherlands. This role is ideal for someone who understands the B2B environment, is passionate about marketing, has a strong track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns and driving business growth. The role requires collaboration with many stakeholders as well as the ability to work proactively. The ideal person will want to understand the customer’s journey and put the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will also love data and use this to continuously improve the way we do things.
Purpose
The marketing specialist is responsible for implementing marketing plans and activities to drive growth and support delivery of business targets across UK, Ireland, and Netherlands. To act as the voice of the customer to deliver value for our customers, drive loyalty and ensure we are easy to do business with.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Purpose
The marketing specialist is responsible for implementing marketing plans and activities to drive growth and support delivery of business targets across UK, Ireland, and Netherlands. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing manager in development of marketing plans that are based on global marketing strategies and local business requirements and consistent with KONE’s overall strategy, purpose, and long-term objectives.
- Implement multi-channel campaigns across full marketing mix including social media, email, content, and traditional marketing. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards as well as safeguarding KONEs reputation and brand.
- Localise and implement global marketing material and activities as required.
- Implement external events according to global guidelines and utilise global concepts and tools.
- Develop and drive marketing activities to create demand, support sales and increase customer loyalty.
- Setting measures and analysing performance of marketing activities (e.g., direct mailing, events, advertising, web marketing) for different market and customer segments.
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate local market trends and segments, customer/influencer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing activities to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- As a guardian of our brand ensure KONE's brand guidelines are implemented and KONE key messages are made visible in all marketing material.
- Oversee translations and ensure materials are applicable across all countries within the front line.
- Collaborate and share best practices within marketing and the communications team within UK, Ireland, and Netherlands.
- Utilise appropriate marketing tools and channels. Apply existing global processes, channels, and tools when applicable.
- Work with external vendors and agencies as required (for example printing houses, event agencies, advertising agencies, graphic designers).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- CIM qualification in marketing (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing. Experience of B2B would be advantageous.
- Proven experience executing successful marketing activities and campaigns.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, SEO, Salesforce marketing cloud, social media, Qlik sense).
- Data and performance driven and constantly looking for ways to improve.
- Excellent communication, and project management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Another language (Dutch) would be beneficial but not essential.
- Working with an international brand or in international company would be beneficial.
- Brand and reputation management understanding.
- Customer segment and market understanding.
- Demonstrable skills in written and oral communication and the ability to obtain information, critique, edit and communicate effectively. Good editorial and proof-reading skills in regard to format and style.
