We are working on behalf of a trusted technology partner to recruit a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing UK operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical capability across enterprise network environments who is also driven by continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.


This position suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering robust and secure network solutions. The role offers a blend of project delivery and support, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate closely with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Act as a subject matter expert on network and security solutions across enterprise clients

  • Engage directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions

  • Design, implement, and support both LAN/WAN and wireless networks using Cisco and Fortinet technologies

  • Develop clear and structured documentation for network design, testing, and deployment

  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and implement best practices for optimisation

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and team mentoring


What we’re looking for:



  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Fortinet FCX or FCP qualifications (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong knowledge of MPLS, SD-WAN, SASE, WLAN, and cloud-based security frameworks

  • Experience in data centre environments including Cisco ACI

  • Solid scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) is desirable

  • Familiarity with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus

  • Excellent documentation skills using Excel, Visio, and Word

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
