THIS ROLE IS BASED IN BELFAST AND REQUIRES 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE OFFICE.


We’re seeking a self-starter with AWS experience to join a talented tech team. You’ll report directly to the Principal Engineer, who values initiative, ownership, and curiosity.


What You’ll Do:



  • Own and manage core AWS infrastructure – from EC2, S3, FSx, to IAM.

  • Take charge of AWS admin and automation tasks, including deployments, auto-scaling, and data pipeline management.

  • Work independently, taking ownership of problems and delivering practical solutions with minimal hand-holding.

  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to support and improve automation around large-scale data operations.

  • Use your Python or Bash scripting skills to optimize and automate infrastructure and data workflows.

  • Play a key role in the evolution of the DevOps practices, helping define best-in-class systems for a cloud-native environment.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Proven experience with AWS – particularly with EC2, S3, IAM, FSX, IAM

  • Have 2-5 Years experience, confident enough to hit the ground running.

  • A problem-solver who’s comfortable teaching themselves new skills and technologies.

  • we’re looking for someone who can already work autonomously.

  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.

  • Bonus: Some knowledge of CloudFormation, though it’s not a primary focus.
