Head of Facilities Management and Real Estate Business Partners
Airbus Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE) Business Partners represent the FMRE organisation of the site in front of stakeholders.
A vacancy has opened at Belfast where you will have a local presence and act as the main point of contact regarding FMRE related topics. You will coordinate the services on site, ranging from Maintenance to Strategic Construction projects, acting as the customer interface and aligning in case of issues / escalations.
You will give operational direction and integrate our technical teams to deliver world class facilities and services to our internal customers, inspiring and developing the team to reach business objectives and customer satisfaction.
This is an exciting opportunity to refine and develop our existing facilities at Belfast with new buildings and facilities to suit our changing business needs and challenging increase in production.

How You Will Contribute To The Team
- Work with site manager and building custodians to define and lead the introduction of an effective Site / Building process confirmation routine and action follow-up
- Manage action recording and timely follow-up and updates to wider business areas on Facility Management topics
- Act as the key interface of Facilities Management at local business level working groups when required
- Support the site by leading on reactive / unplanned daily issues that arise across the plant
- Manage the team to ensure deliverables to Time, Cost and Quality
- Previous experience of leading a team
- Demonstrated experience in facility management or building & construction is required, ideally in a manufacturing environment / production facility
- Effective communication, with strong customer relation and stakeholder management skills essential
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience
- Awareness of relevant HSE regulations preferred
- Basic financial understanding and Project Management fundamentals
