Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bodyshop Repairer / Paint Technician to join our automotive repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing vehicle bodywork, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle body repairs to manufacturer standards, including panel beating, dent removal, and replacement of body panels.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning as required.
- Mix and apply paint using spray guns and other tools, ensuring a smooth and consistent finish.
- Match paint colors using computerized paint-matching systems.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean and functional condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in all aspects of the work.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in vehicle body repair and paint refinishing.
- Certification in automotive refinishing (IMI, ATA, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Knowledge of modern repair methods, materials, and tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with SMART repairs.
- Familiarity with water-based paint systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
