Rate of pay

We offer a competitive salary dependent upon experience You will be paid monthly by credit transfer to your nominated bank account.

Pension scheme

After 3-months service with the company you will be automatically enrolled in the company pension (NEST), if eligible.

Holiday entitlement

You will be entitled 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory days per year (entitlement is pro-rata for part time employees).

Job Description

You will report directly to the Group ATM Engineering Manager and be based within the Belfast Branch. You will be required to operate as the first point of contact for the ATM Engineers and to assist with their workload and escalations. Daily duties will also include carrying out all ATM repair and commissioning work throughout NI.

Role Responsibilities/key Tasks

Be computer literate, have good organizational skills, excellent communication skills, flexible regarding covering additional shifts as and when needed and be prepared to work over your contractual hours if required to complete outstanding jobs.

Driving to and from job locations within NI.

ATM knowledge and experience is preferable but not essential for applying for this role. Basic electrical and IT knowledge to enable them to diagnose possible faults including the use of electrical testing equipment (Multimeter).

Applicants must also be of a fit nature as the role will be physically demanding due to a lot of the major parts located within the ATM being heavy and sometimes challenging to fit and reach depending on ATM location. You will work on a lone worker basis. You will also fit and remove signage.

Essential Criteria

Successful candidates must have the following:

  • Meticulous and high degree of attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar role
  • The ability to communicate well and work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to work within tight timescales
  • Previous experience of working towards targets within personal and team
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy containers safely, using manual handling techniques.
  • Full Driving Licence (HGV Category C is desirable)

  • Approachable with good interpersonal skills
  • Confident user of IT and diagnostic programs
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Work accurately within strict guidelines and follow Company procedures
  • Ability to keep calm in challenging situations

Security checks

Successful candidates will be required to undertake a number of security checks prior to employment commencing which include:

  • Up to a 10-year employment history (less for recent school leavers)
  • Adverse financial credit check
  • DBS Criminal Record Check (Standard Level)
  • Driving License Check (where applicable to your role)
